Income Tax officials on Thursday carried out searches at Bollywood actor Shilpa Shetty’s residence in Mumbai. According to reports, the raids were part of an investigation linked to her hospitality venture, Bastian Garden City.
According to reports, parallel search operations were also conducted at locations in Bengaluru in connection with the same probe into the hotel business.
The raids at the actor's Mumbai home comes a day after Bengaluru police registered cases against two pubs, including Bastian Garden City, which is co-owned by Shetty, for allegedly functioning beyond permitted operating hours.
