HYDERABAD: Accusing Pakistan of misusing funds to promote terrorism, AIMIM president Asaduddin Owaisi, Hyderabad MP, on Sunday urged the Bahrain government to help India to push Pakistan pack into the grey list of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) and stop release of funds from International Monetary Fund.

A Parliamentary delegation led by BJP MP Baijayant Panda — of which Owaisi was a member — was in Bahrain to enlist the support of Bahrain against Pakistan’s support to terrorism.

Stating that he was speaking with all responsibility, the AIMIM chief said that the Indian government has been taking all the steps to protect the lives of each and every person living in India. The government also made it clear that if Pakistan takes up any misadventure against India next time, it will face the consequences beyond their expectations.

“The Indian government had set up a new normal to reply to Pakistan. There is a limit to the patience of Indians. They just cannot enter India and kill innocent people and go back,” he said.

Listing out how Pakistan is aiding and abetting terrorism, Owaisi spoke of the suicide attack in front of Jammu and Kashmir Assembly, terrorist attacks at Uri, and Pulwama, and killing seven Hindu pilgrims in a bus.

”There is unanimity in our country. The people and politicians irrespective of their political affiliations are united. Though we have political differences, the national interest is ultimate for us,” Owaisi reiterated.

The members of the parliamentary delegation visited Bab Al Bahrain, a historical landmark in Manama in Bahrain.
