RAIPUR: A viral video showing a youth flashing victory sign with his hands cuffed while being taken in a police vehicle after his arrest for doing stunts on a two-wheeler bearing no nameplate has landed the local police in Chhattisgarh’s Durg district in an embarrassment.

The video went viral on social media hours after the arrest of Yuvraj Soni (20) in Bhilai under Supela police station on Saturday with a tagline in Hindi, ‘Aaj jail, kaal bail, parson phir wohi khel (Today, I am going to jail, tomorrow, I will be granted bail, and day after tomorrow I will again play stunt game)’.

The Supela police issued a press release on Saturday evening, saying that Soni was arrested for doing dangerous stunts on a two-wheeler on the road.

According to the police, he was performing stunts on the two-wheeler bearing no nameplate.

The youth was produced in the local court after his arrest, the police said.

The video appeared to have been shot inside the police van since Soni was seen in the clip smiling and flashing victory sign with his hands cuffed.

The police however was tightlipped on the viral video.
