Nashik: An earthquake of magnitude 3.4 struck Nashik, Maharashtra, at 5:32 am on Friday.
According to the National Center for Seismology, the earthquake occurred at a depth of 3 km, with its epicentre located at 20.461°N latitude and 73.748°E longitude.
The tremor was relatively minor, and no major damage or casualties have been reported so far.
