Karnataka Ministers Claim Their Performances Were Praised by General Secretary During Scrutiny

After noting down displeasure, complaints and aspirations from ruling party MLAs, it was the turn of Ministers-Zameer Ahmed Khan, Byrathi Suresh, Dr H.C. Mahadevappa, Rahim Khan and Dinesh Gundu Rao to explain to the Karnataka party incharge and general secretary of All India Congress Committee (AICC) Randeep Singh Surjewala over their performance heading various departments.  Bengaluru: After noting down displeasure, complaints and aspirations from ruling party MLAs, it was the turn of Ministers-Zameer Ahmed Khan, Byrathi Suresh, Dr H.C. Mahadevappa, Rahim Khan and Dinesh Gundu Rao to explain to the Karnataka party incharge and general secretary of All India Congress Committee (AICC) Randeep Singh Surjewala over their performance heading various departments.

Ministers in particular Byrathi Suresh and Zameer Ahmed Khan claimed Surjewala was happy over their performance as Ministers and the State Government.

Minister of Urban Development Byrathi Suresh told reporters after the meeting with Surjewala “Not even a single complaint against me or any other Ministers came up for discussion."

In fact, Surjewala was happy over my performance as a Minister, said Suresh and in reply to a query, he clarified “Bangarapet MLA Narayanswamy is like my brother and he has not complained against me to Surjewala. In fact, Narayanswamy has praised me over the works initiated in Kolar district being a district incharge minister.”

After meeting Surjewala at the office of Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) in Bengaluru, it is said Surjewala brought to the notice of Zameer Ahmed Khan over complaints against him by Aland MLA B.R. Patil and Hospet MLA Gaviappa.

Later, Zameer Ahmed told reporters “Had I not delivered, is it possible to get a reward?” and wanted reporters to “Get details over his performance as a Minister from Surjewala.”

Zameer said "No new target for distribution of houses for beneficiaries has been set for two-years and it is because of ongoing distribution of 9.5 lakh houses for the beneficiaries.”

Minister of Health Dinesh Gundu Rao, Minister of Social Welfare Dr H.C. Mahadevappa and Minister of Municipal Administration Rahim Khan met Surjewala and brought to his notice the works under their respective ministries.
