Indian Detained in Qatar Since 3 Months

 New Delhi: An Indian national, Amit Gupta, has been detained in Qatar, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) confirmed on Wednesday. Indian diplomats were granted consular access to Mr. Gupta on March 28. According to media reports, Gupta, a senior official at a private company, has been in custody for the past three months in the Gulf nation. The circumstances surrounding his detention remain unclear.
