Hyderabad aircraft mishap: Painter left terrace just before door fell

Hyderabad: A door of an aircraft belonging to the Telangana state Aviation Academy broke off mid-flight and fell on a house in Yadav Basti in Lalaguda in Secunderabad just past noon on Monday. Mr Ganesh Yadav on whose house the door fell  said that a worker who was painting the terrace for the puja had taken a break just minutes before the incident.

Lallaguda inspector R. Karan Kumar Singh said there were no casualties and no loss of property was reported. “We found that the copter belonged to the Telangana State Aviation Academy. We have informed them and will hand over the broken part after the formalities. They will investigate how the incident occurred.” the inspector said. Police made a general dairy entry and took the door to the police station for safekeeping.
