Telangana: Solar bus stations for metro rail

Managing Director of HMRL N.V.S. Reddy said that they procured have sufficient land for solar bus shelters and have called tenders.

Hyderabad Metro Rail will install a 2.5-foot-tall barricades outside the stations to prevent passengers from directly entering the roads.

Hyderabad: The HMRL and TSRTC on Wednesday announced that both the corporations along with the GHMC would set up solar bus shelters at all the Metro Rail stations in city.

Managing Director of HMRL N.V.S. Reddy said that they procured have sufficient land for solar bus shelters and have called tenders.

During a coordination meeting organised at the RTC Bhavan with principal secretary of transport department Mr Sunil Sharma, RTC chairman S. Satyanarayan, MD G.V. Ramana Rao and other officials, the HMRL informed that it would introduce joint tickets (Multi Modal Transport Card) for RTC buses, MMTS rails and Metro Rails.
