TDP will ensure Rs 10,000 per month for poor by 2019: Andhra minister

Minister Nara Lokesh said an action plan for the same will be decided next week.

Amravati: Andhra Pradesh Minister Nara Lokesh on Thursday said Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu government is adamant on eradicating poverty from the state by 2019.

Lokesh while addressing a gathering at the open innovation forum in Amravati, said by 2019 the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) will make sure that every poor family in the state gets at least Rupees 10,000 per month.

"Andhra Pradesh Government is trying to make sure that every poor family in the state gets income of at least Rs 10,000 by January 2019," Lokesh said.

"An action plan for the same will be decided next week," he added.

Lokesh further said various technologies will also be used by the state dispensation to fulfill the dream of poverty less state

"The state government wants to use different technologies to achieve that target. Technologies useful for agriculture, aquaculture, horticulture and others will be efficiently used for rural development," he said.

"First phase of implementation will be rolled out soon," he added.
