TN Beach mineral exporters win top awards
The award, according to Subramanian, is focused on ease of doing business for promoting mineral exports from the country.
TIRUNELVELI: One of the country's leading beach mineral exporters, VV Minerals (VVM) in Tirunelveli district received the 'CAPEXIL Award' for its export performance.
V. Subramanian, managing director of VV Minerals received the award for the top export category along with 15 other mineral exporters from Kalraj Mishra, Union minister of micro, small and medium enterprises at a function in Delhi on Jan. 28.
The award, according to Subramanian, is focused on ease of doing business for promoting mineral exports from the country.
Transworld Garnet India Private Limited (TGI), a Thoothukudi-based mineral exporter was also selected as one among the 63 'CAPEXIL awardes' under the special export category. C Sakthi Ganapathy, managing director of TGI received the award from the MSME minister the same day.
