Hyderabad: 2,904 nabbed for traffic violations in two days

Hyderabad traffic police has conducted a special drive and booked 2,904 drivers for driving with improper or no number plate in two days.

Hyderabad: In view of the recent chain snatching incidents reported in Rachakonda, and for ensuring safety and security of the public, the Hyderabad traffic police has conducted a special drive and booked 2,904 drivers for driving with improper or no number plate in two days.

The official press release from Anil Kumar, additional commissioner of police (traffic) reads, “During the special drive, Hyderabad traffic police have booked 1,655 cases on Thursday and 1,249 cases on Friday. A total  of 2,904 were booked for traffic violations as per M.V.  Rule 50 and 51.
