Vijayawada: The Andhra Pradesh High Court on Friday has adjourned the hearing on Telugu Desam president N. Chandrababu Naidu’s anticipatory bail petition in a case of irregularities in alignment of Amaravathi Inner Ring Road to October 3.

Representing the AP-CID, Advocate-General S. Sriram argued that the changes in the alignment of Inner Ring Road at Amaravati benefited Lingamanenis as they got their land value had gone up while Lingamanenis and Heritage Foods resorted to a series of irregularities to derive benefit.

Chandrababu Naidu’s counsel Siddarth Luthra, attending the court virtually, argued that the case was booked out of political vendetta.
