Hyderabad: Land bank potential to boost growth

The growth rate of TS at the current pace is 14 per cent which is above the national average.

Hyderabad: The huge potential of land bank in Telangana will help the state in future, said chief advisor to the government Dr Rajiv Sharma. He stated that this would help the state enormously.

Dr Sharma explained, “The smaller state helps in the growth of the local economy, proper utilisation of local resources and facilitates growth and development of the state. The growth rate of TS at the current pace is 14 per cent which is above the national average. The per capita income has also risen by 13.3 per cent which is the highest in the country.”

The state’s development can be further improved and there are abundant opportunities as there is a huge land bank in the new state which has to be exploited efficiently and judiciously. This will boost growth in different sectors, including agriculture and industry, he said.
