Thiruvananthapuram schools excel in CBSE class 10

Of the 183 students from Saraswathy Vidyalaya, 78 got 90 per cent and 74 got a first class.

Thiruvananthapuram: Schools in Thiruvananthapuram and Kollam did well in the CBSE class X examinations, results of which were announced on Tuesday. In Christ Nagar Senior Secondary School, Thiruvallam, of the 295 students who appeared for the examinations, 218 got a distinction, 63 got a first class and 14 got a second class. At the Good Shepherd School, Akkulam, of the 147 students, 45 secured 90 per cent, 45 secured distinction and 55 students secured first class. Of the 183 students from Saraswathy Vidyalaya, 78 got 90 per cent and 74 got a first class. Of the 172 students from Sarvodaya Central Vidyalaya, Nalachira, 119 got distinction, 52 first class and 33 students got 90 per cent marks.

Of the 94 students of Christ Nagar Central School, Kowdiar, 44 got over 90 per cent marks.  In Model public school, Pallipuram, six students got above 90 per cent, 19 students distinction and  there were 23 first classes. All the students from Holy Spirit School Poonkulam passed the examinations. Students at Alan Feldman Public School,  Kazhakut-tom, secured 100 per cent pass with 67 percent getting adistinction.

Sivagiri Sree Narayana Senior Secondary School, Sreenivasapuram, Varkala secured 100 per cent pass. Out of 92 students, 40 secured distinction and 37 students secured first class. Of the 95 students from Kendriya Vidyalaya, Akkulam, all passed with 24 students scoring 90 per cent marks and 87 students scoring 60 per cent.  St John’s School, Anchal, recorded 100 per cent pass. Of the 117, nine candidates got A1 in all subjects. Another eight got A1 in four subjects.

Nehru memorial model school, Attupuram, Kadakkal and Dr GR Public School, Neyyatinkara, recorded 100 per cent pass. Out of 130 students in the Dr GR Public School,  41 secured 90 per cent. Viswabharathy Public School, Neyyattinkara, has achieved 100 per cent success in the CBSE class 10 examinations. Of 288 students who appeared, 93 students secured a distinction while 130 students got a first class.

St.Francis Sales Sr. Sec. School, Vizhinjam got 100 per cent pass. Out of 124 students 21 students secured above 90 percentage and 69 students got distinction. At Nedumang-ad Kairali Vidya Bhavan, out of the 89 students, 30 students secured distinction and 34 students secured first class. Army Public School, Pangode, registered 100 per cent results. Of the 66 students 61 got first class. Among them, 18 secured 90 percent marks. Sree Vivekananda Memo-rial Public School, Aralu-mmoodu, Neyyatinkara recorded 100 per cent pass. Of the 104 students, 13 got 90 per cent marks, 54 got 80 per cent marks and 33 got 60 per cent marks.

St Mary’s Central School, Poojapura, also got good results with 84 students getting distinction and 22 students above 90 among the 118 students. Of the 17 students from Sri Sri Ravishankar Vidya Mandir Maruthamkuzhy, all passed with five getting distinction and eight getting a first class. Sree Buddha Central School, Karunagappally, also bagged 100 per cent pass with 48 distinctions and 33 above 80. Of the 67 students from the ARR School, Nettayam, 12 got distinction and the rest first class. Amritha Vidyalaya, Papanamcode, Bharath-iya Vidya Bhavan, Kodunganoor and Bharathiya Vidya Bhavan, Manvilla got 100 per cent pass.
