AE suspended for laxity in road work

Hyderabad: Principal secretary of Municipal Administration Arvind Kumar on Tuesday instructed GHMC commissioner M. Dana Kishore to place an assistant engineer for negligence in discharging duties.  

Mr Kumar on Tuesday inspected the road works near the Hyline restaurant at Abids.  The work was started in September at an estimated cost of '1.3 crore.   He noticed that the approach road was not laid properly and felt that there was negligence by officers.
