153 hyper-sensitive booths in Shivamogga

Shivamogga: As many as 9,00,741 people, including 4,52,935 men, 4,47,788 women and 18 in the ‘others’ category will cast their votes during the elections to the zilla and taluk panchayats in Shivamogga district, Deputy Commissioner V.P. Ikkeri has said.

In all, 1,207 polling booths would be set up in the district. Of them, 241 had been identified as sensitive and 153 as hyper-sensitive. Polling in the district would take place on February 13, he told reporters on Friday.
