Hyderabad: The Joint Action Committee of Engineering College Parents has alleged that Vasavi Engineering College has not accepted the semester exam fee from students till they clear their dues.

The Joint Action Committee demanded that the college should allow   students to write the exams.

Joint Action Committee chairman S. Srinath said the parents had decided to await the decision of the Supreme Court on their petition, and the government order on the subject.

“The college has submitted a caveat before the GO was issued, and the association filed an affidavit,” Mr Srinath said.

“The college is asking for no-dues forms which is unfair when the General Order and the court decision are pending. The management should understand the financial problems of the students and allow them to write their exams,” he said. He said the last date for paying the fee was over, and students were worried about not being allowed to write the exams.
