Hyderabad: Following a demand from a large number of his supporters who had gathered there, I-T officials allowed Congress leader A. Revanth Reddy, who where were interrogating, to go out to the balcony of his house and wave to the crowd.

High drama unfolded during the second day of raids by the I-T officials at the former MLA’s residence.
A video shows that Mr Revanth Reddy was brought out to his balcony by five to six IT officials. He waves to the crowd, gestures to them that he is safe and tells them not to worry. High pitched whistles and screams followed his gestures, after which he goes back inside.
About 100 policemen were deployed outside Mr Reddy’s house on Friday evening to keep the crowds in order, said Banjara Hills ACP K. Srinivasa Rao.
