Memorial for Jayalalithaa

Chennai: Chief Minister Edappadi K. Palaniswami on Wednesday announced that his government would build a memorial for former Chief Minister J. Jayalalithaa at the Marina where she was laid to rest.

A committee would be formed to select the best design for the memorial, he told the Assembly and added that a memorial arch would come up to mark the centenary of party founder MGR's birth anniversary
