Japan launches new facility to woo visitors from 5 southern states

The Japan visa application centres managed by VFS Global Services Pvt Ltd, for Japanese Entry Visa comes into effect from March 31.

Chennai: The Consulate-General of Japan in Chennai has introduced a new facility to invite more foreign visitors to Japan through the Japan Visa Application Centres in multiple cities covering the southern states of Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Kerala and the Union Territory of Puducherry.

The Japan visa application centres managed by VFS Global Services Pvt Ltd, for Japanese Entry Visa comes into effect from March 31. According to a release here on Tuesday, those applying for visa to enter Japan have the option to approach either the visa counter in the  Consulate-General here or any of the visa application centres opened in Chennai, Hyderabad, Puducherry, Kochi and Thiruvananthapuram.
