Covid cases keep rising in Karimnagar, Khammam

Of the 186 new cases that were reported, 65 were from GHMC limits

Hyderabad: Karimnagar and Khammam continue to report a spike in Covid-19 cases as the districts reported 16 and 11 new cases respectively as against seven and four on October 26. In the last one week, Karimnagar registered 107 cases while it was 74 in Khammam even as there has been a constant dip and rise in cases in the two districts.

Of the 186 new cases that were reported, 65 were from GHMC limits. The samples tested in the last 24 hours were 41,392.

The total cases in the state touched 6,70,829 while the death toll stands at 3,951 following one death on Wednesday.

Other districts reporting high cases are Medchal Malkajgiri and Ranga Reddy with 10 new cases each.
