Three Andhra Pradesh teachers honored as national best teachers

Vishakhapatnam: Three government teachers from Andhra Pradesh have been honored as National Best Teachers by the Department of School Education & Literacy, Ministry of Education.

The teachers are:

Mekala Bhaskara Rao, of Mcps Kondayapalem Social Welfare School, SPSR Nellore district
Murahara Rao Uma Gandhi, of GVMCP School Sivajipalem, Visakhapatnam
Settem Anjaneyulu, of SRRZP High School Masapeta, Rayachoti, Annamayya district
The teachers were selected through a rigorous transparent and online three-stage selection process. They will be awarded by the President of India on Teachers Day, September 5, 2023, at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi.

Their selection as National Best Teachers is a recognition of their hard work and dedication. It is also a testament to the quality of education in Andhra Pradesh.

The Principal Secretary (School Education) and Commissioner of School Education of Andhra Pradesh congratulated the award winners.

They said that teachers are an inspiration to all and their achievements will motivate others to join the teaching profession.
