Telangana likely to experience heavy rainfall during weekend

Hyderabad: The state may experience heavy rainfall on August 30 and 31 under the impact of a weather system that is likely to develop in the north Bay of Bengal. The IMD said a low pressure could develop over the Bay of Bengal  on August 29.

The warning issued by the IMD said, “Heavy rain is very likely to occur at isolated places in the districts of Adilabad, Nirmal, Mancherial, Asifabad, Nizamabad, Karimnagar, Rajanna Sircilla, Peddapalle, Jagtial, Warangal Urban, Warangal Rural, Mulugu, Jayashankar Bhupalapally, Khammam, Mahabubabad, Nalgonda.”  On Monday, the state witnessed light to moderate rainfall in Nirmal, Adilabad, Nizamabad, Komaram Bheem districts though some isolated places recorded up to 5 cm at isolated places.
