Karnataka to seek Rs 3,000 crore relief from Centre

H. D. Kumaraswamy announced that the state would submit a proposal asking the central government to pay for repairs of roads, bridges.

Bengaluru: Kodagu district suffered a loss to the tune of Rs 3,000 crore due to recent rains coupled with landslides, said Chief Minister H. D. Kumaraswamy, and announced that the state would submit a proposal asking the central government  to pay for repairs of roads, bridges and government  buildings.
