Trains halted as track was in danger mark

Hyderabad: The movement of several trains were affected due to water flowing between Hasanparti and Kazipet of Secunderabad division in South Central Railway due to water flowing on the track. The section connects Secunderabad and Hyderabad to Delhi via Ballarshah.

Five trains were cancelled, four partially cancelled, two trains rescheduled and 40 trains were diverted through alternate routes.

On Thursday night, the track was restored which allowed normal operations to restart. Train 22816 Ernakulam-Bilaspur Express was the first to pass through the section.

The railways sent the messages to all the passengers who had made reservation in these trains so as to plan their journey accordingly.
