Hyderabad Police tells hotels to keep records

The police found 17 guest houses were not maintaining proper record of customers and was initiating criminal action against them.

Hyderabad: The city police has asked guest houses, lodges and service apartment owners to maintain proper record of the visitors. The police asked them to submit the records at the police station and ensure that no illegal activities take place in their premises. 

The advisory was issued by the Commissioner’s Task Force which inspected 34 guest houses in Jubilee Hills and Banjara Hills police station areas. The police found 17 guest houses were not maintaining proper record of customers and was initiating criminal action against them. 

“It is mandatory for the management to collect identity proofs, submit Form B and C to police station concerned, maintain proper records of visitors and do not allow illegal activities,” said DCP Task Force, Mr. B Limba Reddy.
