Hyderabad: Political JAC chairman Prof. Kodandaram said the people need a change in governance and style of administration; they feel there is no significant change in the administration by the TRS government.

He told mediapersons on Tuesday that the those who went on the first leg of the Telangana Martyrs inspirational rally that went around 675 km in Medak, Sangareddy and Siddipet districts found that people were agitating over government attempts to complete the 50 tmc ft Mallannasagar reservoir without taking into account the problems of farmers who are set to lose their land and without mindful of the dangers involved in construction of such a big reservoir in seismic zone.

He said water cannot be stored in the area which is being constructed in a faulty geographical zone posing threat to lakhs of people living around the area. He also said people have complained him on untimely pensions, large scale allegations on corruption against TRS leaders in Mission Kakatiya and Mission Bhagiratha Schemes and also on several schemes confined to papers without implementation. He said Rallies will be held in other Districts too in  a phased manner. He said Government failed to create confidence among farmers who are yet to receive the money on the paddy they have sold to government agencies.
