CBI checks out 'Miyapur land scam'

The TS CID is investigating the case and the Anti Corruption Bureau is probing the involvement of officials.

Prisha Pearls had been given a licence for using a Remotely Managing Franking Machine on August 28, 2013, for booking Value Payable letter (VPL) and Value Payable Parcel (VPP) articles.

Hyderabad: The Miyapur land scam involving politicians  and officials has come under the scanner of the Central Bureau of Investigation.

Sources said CBI has begun collecting information regarding the evacuee property and enemy property in Miyapur.

“As the ministry of home affairs is the custodian of such properties, the CBI is getting involved. They are collecting information orally. No case has been registered so far with the CBI,” said a source.

The TS CID is investigating the case and the Anti Corruption Bureau is probing the involvement of officials.
