Hyderabad: 2 convicted for murder of advocate

Avula Uday Kumar’s murder took place on June 25 2016 following a dispute over a land of five acres.

Hyderabad: Two persons who were arrested for murdering an advocate and setting his body ablaze over a land dispute were convicted by the LB Nagar court on Wednesday. The court has directed the prime accused to undergo life imprisonment while the other has been imprisoned for a period of one year.

Avula Uday Kumar’s murder took place on June 25 2016 following a dispute over a land of five acres.

He was killed by Lokesh Babu, 25, who when questioned about the illegal sale of  land hacked Uday to death. Another Suman Reddy helped disposed Uday’s body.
