Plea against encounter in Andhra Pradesh dismissed

New Delhi: A three-judge SC bench of Chief Justice J.S. Khehar and Justices D.Y. Chandarchud and Sanjay Kishan Kaul on Monday declined to entertain a PIL from  advocate R.M. Thambi of Tamil Nadu for a CBI probe into the alleged fake encounter killings of 20 labourers from Tamil Nadu by the Andhra Pradesh police on April 7, 2015.

Mr Thambi alleged that 20 woodcutters from of Tamil Nadu were labourers who go to Andhra Pradesh to cut red sandalwood trees in the Seshachalam hill ranges and they were killed brutally.
