Surat: As the exam season is inching closer, visually impaired students of Class 10, in Surat, are indulging in board exam preparations with the help of 'PlexTalk', a flash top specially curated for this section of society.

PlexTalk is a device that works on audio principles, and narrates audiobooks to such students, thereby simplifying cumbersome preparation. The device comes with an option of using pre-installed audiobooks or recording audiobooks from scratch using the 'record' button.

The device, the students said, has proven to be extremely useful for their preparations, and has made them more confident of clearing the exams.

"This device is in line with the government's Digital India vision. Preparations for us are very easy with this device. We can listen to audiobooks any time, or record an entire book. Another feature is the extensive storage capacity of this device, which helps save many books at once without causing any storage crunch. We are confident of doing well in the examination," Vignesh, a student said.

While the device comes with 16 to 32 GB internal memory, it also contains a provision for an external memory card to be installed for enhanced memory.
