Low pressure over Bay of Bengal

It is very likely to move gradually west northwestwards and become a well marked low pressure area during the next two days. Thereafter, it would continue to move west northwestward, intensify further into a depression around January 31 over southwest Bay of Bengal and reach near Sri Lanka coast around February 1. VISAKHAPATNAM: The low pressure area over East Equatorial Indian Ocean and adjoining Southeast Bay of Bengal now lay over Southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining East Equatorial Indian Ocean.

It is very likely to move gradually west northwestwards and become a well marked low pressure area during the next two days. Thereafter, it would continue to move west northwestward, intensify further into a depression around January 31 over southwest Bay of Bengal and reach near Sri Lanka coast around February 1.
