Woman dies after landing in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: A 63-year-old woman, a Somali national, who arrived at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport on Monday morning, died of a heart stroke. 

According to the Cyberabad police, Maryan Hassan Abdi, 63, of Somalia (Passport no: P00751635) arrived at RGIA from Dubai in an Emirates flight (EK 526) at about 9.50 am on Monday. The woman was having issues breathing at about 9.30 am.

As soon as the flight landed, Maryan was rushed to Apollo Hospital in the airport, where she was declared brought dead by the doctors. Maryan is suspected to have suffered a heart stroke. She was accompanied by two relatives. A case has been registered and procedures to send the body to her country are underway.
