Hyderabad: Patient jumps to death at Care hospital

His wife was with him at the hospital but had left him alone for some time and had gone to meet a relative.

Hyderabad: A patient named Praveen Kumar Garg, 42, jumped from a top floor of Care Hospital in Banjara Hills on Tuesday at 11 am. He fell in the lobby and was rushed to the emergency department, but died at 1 pm. A resident of Vanasthalipuram, Garg was admitted on October 24 for alcohol de-addiction. His wife was with him at the hospital but had left him alone for some time and had gone to meet a relative.

At that time Praveen came out of his room and jumped down. Senior inspector S. Mohan Kumar of Panjagutta police station said a case was registered.
