Hyderabad: The Hyderabad High Court on Thursday asked the Administrators’ Committee to ensure that the Special General Body meeting of the Hyderabad Cricket Association scheduled for the second week of June 2018 shall amend ‘bye’ laws, to implement the recommendations of the Justice Lodha Committee, in the HCA.

A division bench comprising Acting Chief Justice, Ramesh Ranganathan and Justice K Vijaya Lakshmi felt that the recommendations of the Justice Lodha Committee were not properly implemented in the HCA, even though they were directed by the  Supreme Court to do so.

The High Court appointed the administrators’ committee with Justice Anil R Dave, former judge of the Supreme Court and Justice G Seethapathy, a retired judge of the High Court to oversee the implementation of the Justice Lodha Committee recommendations in the HCA. The court was dealing with a petition by advocate, M. Govind Reddy, seeking the implementation of the recommendations, last year.

It means the amended bye-laws in the Special General Meetings held on Janury 7, 2018, November 20 and July 2, 2017 stand in suspended animation.
