Provide sops to film sector, Chiranjeevi urges Union Minister Anurag Thakur

Hyderabad: The Union I&B minister Anurag Singh Thakur met megastar Chiranjeevi at his residence here on Monday. Fellow actor Akkineni Nagarjuna and producer Allu Aravind received Thakur.
Later, they discussed Indian films, especially the history-making ‘RRR’ and ‘Baahubali’. Chiranjeevi apparently sought Centre’s encouragement by way of sops and facilities so that India could be on top of world cinema.
Later, Thakur tweeted, "Grateful for your insights into the world of cinema; your plans ahead and how we can make this the content century for India! Your art has inspired millions globally! (sic)"
Chiranjeevi replied, "Thank you dear Anurag Thakur for making time to drop by. Loved the delightful discussion we had along with my brother Nagarjuna about the Indian Film Industry and the rapid strides it is making!(sic)"
