BJP state president Kummanam Rajasekharan to hold 24 hour fast

He has already demanded that the LDF Government should come out with a white paper on the funds provided to tribals in the State.

Thiruvananthapuram: BJP State president Kummanam Rajasekharan will hold a 24-hour fast before the Secretariat on Tuesday highlighting the plight of the tribal people  under the LDF government.  Ramvihar Netam, national president of Scheduled Tribe Morcha and a leading tribal leader of Chhattisgarh will inaugurate the fast at 10 am.

Kummanam’s demand is that SC/ST development minister A. K. Balan should step down from office as he has been a failure in protecting the tribals in the State. He has already demanded that the LDF Government should come out with a white paper on the funds provided to tribals in the State. Kummanam has also demanded for Rs 25 lakh to the family of Madhu who was lynched by a violent mob and also that a family member should be provided with a government job.
