Hyderabad: Prajakutami complains to ec on tapping

Mr Ramana alleged that Mr Chandrasekhar Rao had distributed about Rs 1,000 crore to TRS leaders.

Hyderabad: Prajakutami leaders on Thursday approached Chief Electoral Officer Rajat Kumar and complained against DIG Intelligence Prabhakar Rao and Task Force officer Radhakrishna Rao. Speaking to mediapersons, Mr Reddy said, “Opposition leaders are intentionally being harassed. The relative of KCR, the Task Force DCP, harassed TS TD chief L. Ramana by stopping his vehicle intentionally and trying to book cases against him. The same situation was faced by TJS chief M. Kodandaram. DIG Prabha-kar Rao is tapping the phone calls of the opposition leaders. The CEO has responded positively.”

Mr Reddy that he had also complained about a couple of newspapers. He also complained that party programmes were being held in the official residences of the Chief Minister and ministers. Mr Ramana alleged that Mr Chandrasekhar Rao had distributed about Rs 1,000 crore to TRS leaders.

“To make sure that the polls will be held according to the procedure, we will meet the President of India and will urge that there be President’s rule,’ he said.
