Hyderabad: West Marredpally road that cost Rs 32 lakh dug up again

Less than three months back, the SCB had laid a new road after several reports appeared in DC.

Hyderabad: Less than three months after a road was laid at West Marredpally at a cost of Rs 32 lakh, it is being dug up.

A senior SCB official, confirming the report, said: “Reliance group had sought permission from the Secunderabad Cantonment Board for underground cabling. They have paid the road cutting charges and SCB has granted them permission to dig the soil, but not the road part. Permission has been granted to dig along the edge of the road. All the damage repairs, leveling will be done by Reliance post-completion of the work. They have sought permission to dig from Mahindra Hills to AOC, Stop and Go Bakery; Wellington Road up to Agra Sweet House.”

Less than three months back, the SCB had laid a new road after several reports appeared in DC. Now permission has been granted to dig the same road.
