RTC staff felicitate MD NV Surendra Babu

Vijayawada: Reminding that retiring employees were receiving their benefits on the day of their superannuation, APSRTC employees on Monday felicitated the Corporation’s MD N.V. Surendra Babu who made it possible.
The employees said that earlier, it used to take over six months to get their retirement benefits.
The employees and union leaders congratulated Mr Surendra Babu for successfully completing one year as the MD of the Corporation on Monday. They thanked him for releasing pending pension benefits of the employees worth about `20 crore after taking charge as the MD.
With the initiative of Mr Surendra Babu, as many as 487 employees received their pension benefits within two months. They also said that the MD regularised 1,050 contract drivers and 625 conductor posts.
