Hyderabad: Candidates seem to be following the late Tamil Nadu CM Jayalalithaa's model of campaigning. House appliances like wall clocks and gadgets (cellphones) are being distributed in Assembly constituencies as freebies but the pictures and the name of the MLA distributing them are printed on these appliances.

TRS MLA Errabelli Dayakar Rao of Palakurthi constituency of Warangal district has his face on a wall clock while another TRS man Dasyam Vinay Bhaskar of East Warangal is on the cover of a cell phone.

Former Speaker for Telangana S. Madhusu-dhana Chary was snapped feeding a poor man in his assembly constituency, Bhupalpalle, while Anil Kumar Yadav of the Congress has his picture clicked while he was making dosas at a bandi in the city. Another act to appease was by TRS MLA D. Chinnaia of Bellampalli who was shot ironing clothes. Paper tissues carrying the symbol of MIM, was distributed in Nampally assembly constituencies. The paper tissue read Hamara Kaam Hamari Pehchan.
