New Delhi: A CCTV footage of Tuesday's blast near Old Delhi’s Chandni Chowk market has emerged online, showing the chaos that prevailed in the street following the low-intensity explosion.

The video shows people walking on the street in Naya Bazaar and it seems business as usual, until the explosion occurs. People then start running scared for their lives as debris fall on them and smoke covers the entire street. The video also shows men running out of shops, their heads covered and they try to escape the blast site.

One person was killed and five others were injured in the explosion.

Official sources said the area is thick with firecracker factories. Initial reports suggest that a bag full of crackers might have gone off, killing the person who was carrying it.

However, there is no official confirmation of the cause behind the explosion.
