Hyderabad: Many trains cancelled due to rains

Hyderabad: A fresh spell of rain in Hyderabad crippled the MMTS service on Monday. Several trains on the Hyderabad-Lingampalli and the Falaknuma-Lingampalli routes were cancelled and diverted as a result of a technical glitch that took place at Hafeezpet station at 10 am.

Railway officials said that the problem was fixed within two hours.

Train Nos 47115 and 47111 were cancelled on the Hyderabad-Lingampalli route while train no. 47135 was cancelled on the Lingampalli-Hyderabad route. On the Hyderabad-Falaknuma route, train nos 47209 and 47199 were cancelled partially between Falaknuma and Secunderabad stations.
