Fake Twitter handle says Railway Board chairman is retired

The ministry has put out a message on Twitter to warn people that any tweets from that handle is not authentic.

Hyderabad: A parody Twitter handle has managed to worry the ministry of railways by announcing the retirement of Railway Board chairman Ashwini Lohani. The ministry has  put out a message on Twitter to warn people that any tweets from that handle is not authentic.

The ministry of railways, on its official Twitter handle, said, “Mischievous activity is reported on a FAKE Twitter handle created by some unscrupulous element in the name of Shri Ashwani Lohani @officeOfALohani, Chairman Railway Board. Anything posted from this Twitter handle is not authentic and cannot be attributed to Shri Ashwani Lohani. (sic)”

According to a railway official, the chairman’s retirement is scheduled by this December end.
