KCR to distribute podu land pattas in Asifabad on June 30

Hyderabad: Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao will launch the distribution of podu land pattas for tribals on June 30. He will formally launch the programme from Asifabad district headquarters on June 30. Meanwhile, ministers and MLAs will distribute pattas to beneficiaries in their respective Assembly constituencies and districts on the same day. Rao had intended to take up the distribution programme from June 24.

After Election Commission officials conducted training classes for district collectors on Friday and Saturday with regard to poll preparedness and the Bakrid festival falling on June 29, Rao postponed pattas distribution programme to June 30.

During the visit, the Chief Minister will inaugurate the newly constructed Komaram Bheem Asifabad district integrated collectorate office complex and SP office on June 30 and will later address a public meeting.

Ministers Harish Rao and Puvvada Ajay Kumar will distribute podu land pattas in Bhadradri Kothagudem district while K.T. Rama Rao and Satyavathi Rathod will do so in Mahabubabad district.
