Mukesh Ambani may give Confederation of Indian Industry a miss
Over 2,500 delegates from India and 40 countries will converge for The Partnership Summit 2018.
Visakhapatnam: Reliance Industries Chairman and Managing Director Mukesh Ambani may give a miss to the AP Investment Meet (Partnership Summit) to be held from February 24. According to the district administration officials looking after the VIPs arrangements, Ambani may not attend as he would be on a visit to London.
The Third Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) partnership summit in Vizag city succession from February 24 to 26 and all arrangements are being made to make the event a grand success, like the previous two, but the absence of Indian’s richest man Ambani is a disappointment for many. It may recall that the last-minute cancellation of Mukesh Ambani in CII partnership summit in Vizag in 2017 led to an upset of several delegates. India’s top industrialist Ambani made five big announcements for Uttar Pradesh in the recently concluded UP Investors Summit organised by the chief minister of UP Yogi Adityanath, Ambani. Sources said that someone from Reliance may attend the AP’s partnership summit and likely to invest in the state. Over 2,500 delegates from India and 40 countries will converge for The Partnership Summit 2018.
The 24th edition of The Partnership Summit is a unique platform that would enable close examination of the partnerships and synergies that spark the next phase of global growth and develop strong multi-country linkages and networks to assist the transformation of the global economy. Vice-President of India M. Venkaiah Naidu, Suresh Prabhu, Union Minister for Commerce and Industry and chief minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu will address the Inaugural Session of the Partnership Summit.
The theme for this year’s Summit is Charting New India’s Global Integration Strategy.
