Special police teams hot on JN Ganesh's heels

The police are looking for the accused Ganesh since Sunday after the assault came to light.

Bengaluru: As many as six police teams have been formed to trace and arrest Kampli MLA J.N. Ganesh, who is absconding after assaulting the lawmaker colleague Anand Singh at a private resort on Sunday.

The police are looking for the accused Ganesh since Sunday after the assault came to light. Mr Singh, Hosapete Congress MLA, who was hospitalised after hit by Ganesh with a liquor bottle during a brawl at the Eagleton Resort in the early hours of Sunday, had alleged that Ganesh attempted to kill him. 

The police have filed a first information report against Ganesh and the Congress has suspended him from the party. The cops visited the resort and recorded the statements of the staff.
