Home minister Taneti Vanitha and DGP Rajendranath Reddy will be chief guests on the occasion, PTC principal Venkatrami Reddy said.

Andhra Pradesh is yet to have a full-fledged police academy. APPA is temporarily functioning from the Anantapur PTC.

The state government has not yet finalised the location for setting up its permanent police academy. It will be set up either in Anantapur or Mangalagiri. About 90 acres of land has been identified near Kurugunta in Anantapur district for the academy.
