Hyderabad: A Qatar Airways flight made an emergency landing at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport airport after a woman passenger took ill mid-air on Tuesday.

Officials said the passenger from Ukraine, Galyna Konkina, 65, suffered slow heartbeat on the flight which was going from Doha to Bangkok.
The cabin crew alerted the aircraft commander who got in touch with the air traffic control and sought permission to land at the airport.
Airport sub-inspector Venkateshwarlu said Flight QR 830 made an emergency landing at the Shamshabad airport at 3.05 am on Tuesday.
The passenger was rushed to Apollo Hospital where she died while undergoing treatment.
Her body is being handed over to her cousin, Sulyha Olhb, said the airport sub-inspector.
The aircraft later resumed its journey.
