Caught B S Yeddyurappa on tape, claims H D Kumaraswamy

The Chief Minister said that Tumakuru Janata Dal (Secular) MLA Gowrishankar was in Singapore to treat his ailing father.

Hassan: In yet another twist to the ongoing MLA poaching drama in the state,  Chief Minister, H.D. Kumaraswamy on Saturdday claimed to have pulled off a sting operation to prove that state BJP chief, B S Yeddyurappa was wooing JDS legislators to join his party.  “I sent Nagamangala MLA, Suresh Gowda to Mr Yeddyurappa and he has recorded their conversation on his mobile phone. I now have evidence about the BJP poaching our legislators and will release it at the right time,” he told reporters here before heading for the JDLP meeting. 

On Congress MLA, MTB Nagaraj en route to Chennai, Mr Kumaraswamy said he had asked his permission to go to Mumbai.  " He is with us and has not fallen prey to the designs of the BJP," he maintained.    Asked about Bharatiya Janata Party’s emissary Uday Gowda reportedly trying to lure Janata Dal (Secular) MLAs, Mr Kumarawamy claimed  that he was absconding in Sri Lanka and the police there had located him.  

The Chief Minister said that  Tumakuru Janata Dal (Secular) MLA Gowrishankar was in Singapore to treat his ailing father.  “I will write  to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister, Rajnath Singh about local Bharatiya Janata Party leaders attempting to poach our MLAs," he said.
